Vincent Browne confused vaping with vamping last night

Scarleh.

VINCENT BROWNE IS never stuck for words but the presenter managed to jumble them last night, with amusing results.

Browne was cutting to a commercial break when he suggested that the panel would have no trouble keeping themselves occupied during the ads.

The word Browne actually meant to use was vaping, the term used to describe the process of ‘smoking’ electronic cigarettes, and Twitter wasn’t long telling him.

Some seemed genuinely worried about what Vincent and the panel would actually be getting up to.

After all, the Urban Dictionary defines vamping as a musical term used to describe:

…the repeated use of a phrase through an entire song or the improvisation on top of a repeated phrase through a song. Looping, samples and grooves are all examples of vamping, as is almost all popular music with repeated chord progressions. It is not a negative attribute, but implies building on top of a groove to create a song.

We’re sure Vinny B could lay down some slick ‘tweet machine’ beatz in fairness.
